Le Palais des Expositions des Pins Maritimes is the host of Batimatec and the main venue for trade exhibitions in Algeria . SAFEX (Société Algérienne des Foires et Exportations) is the state company responsible for the management of this Exhibition Centre in Algiers .

 The Exhibition Centre is located next to the motorway, 3km from Algiers ’ international airport and 10km from the city centre. The site spans an area of 68 hectares, with 46,960 m² of covered exhibition space and 25,000 m² of outdoor exhibition space. Several conference rooms are also available on site (to host up to 400 people).

Other facilities at the Exhibition Centre include a bank, restaurants, bars, visitor parking for 5,000 vehicles and exhibitor parking for 2,000 vehicles.
